Condo And Co-op Owners Property Management Services in NYC

My husband and I recently bought a HPM coop. We had never owned a coop before and I wanted some work done before we officially moved in so I had a lot of questions. Greg Poverelli has been great to work with-informative, fast, polite, and very helpful.

We recently purchased a coop that is managed by HPM. Between renovations that I wanted done and the move itself I have had several interactions with Greg and they have all been quick and professional. In fact it was much easier to move into this coop than it was to move out of the apartment we were renting--less time, less paperwork, more detailed and courteous communications.

Greg does an amazing job at managing our condo building. Thanks for all your constant updates and prompt responses. Appreciate all your hard work!

HPM, and especially our Property Manager, Greg, has been an incredible upgrade for our small condo building in Harlem. We switched to HPM after years of mounting frustration, lack of professionalism, and financial mismanagement by another company, and since HPM has taken over, they have been incredibly professional, reliable, honest, and dependable. After serving as Board President for more than 10 years, I realize how incredibly important it is to spend the extra money to hire a management company that encompasses the values I highlighted above about HPM. We are still getting back on our feet, but I trust that we are in good hands with HPM!

Greg Poverelli worked on the a vacation (it was the July 4th!) to make sure our leak in the apartment was fixed. I've been in NYC for almost 2 decades, and I've never worked with such responsive and caring people. They set an example.

I am a resident of a building managed by Harlem Property Management. I have had experience dealing with many building management companies over the years and Harlem is by far the best. I don't post this review lightly but enough time has gone by and they have performed with great consistency. They have a rare combination of knowledge/experience AND the energy to address problems as soon as they arise. HPM manages our building in a first class manner and I highly recommend them. Just adding to my earlier review after some time has passed. I still feel that Harlem is by far the best management company that I have come across. Armed with an excellent knowledge of building systems, they have the right answer to any question and the right response to any situation. They run annual condo member meetings in an exemplary fashion, giving residents the knowledge they require. They communicate with residents in a prompt, clear and proactive manner. I highly recommend. This is now my second update to this review but it's justified because our condo had it's annual meeting this past week, which was organized by Harlem Property Managment, Inc. and I again found it exemplary. HPM is very detailed and pro-active and they had good answers to every question asked by the residents.

I have been dealing with management companies for the past 18 years. So far this is the best management company. The most reliable, quick in responding and taking care of any issues promptly. HPM serves as the property management for the coop building my husband and I recently moved out of. We sold our apartment, which took many months and lots of stress. Greg with HPM was thankfully there to help us throughout the sales process. I reached out to Greg regularly with questions, and he was always thorough and helpful. He was attentive to our closing timeframe and worked with all of the attorneys/deal parties to get us to closing. We will greatly miss the building, community and HPM as we start our new chapter!

Our building has been working with Anthony Freeman at Harlem Property Management for several years now, and we are very appreciative of his expertise and thoroughness. My window broke in the midst of a huge rainstorm, and it was freezing and water was coming into my apt. Fredo came super late at night to patch up the window to hold me over until repairs could be made….. Curtis came by a few days later and fully repaired the window so it’s better than new! He made several repairs in my apartment and everything turned out perfectly! Everyone was so diligent and fantastic and so easy and friendly! I’m very happy with this entire group!

We just closed on a distressed property—there were roaches, and active leaks from upstairs neighbors and the unit’s toilet. They responded quickly and professionally to our service request. The leaks are gone, the roaches are gone and the toilet has been replaced. Special shout out to Curtis and Fredo. Curtis also fixed a bad light switch that he noticed while there. He is a man of many talents.
